Telephone Order Line Details

The following information covers the basic operation of the Wickes Telephone Order Line. For complete details, please refer to the Wickes website Terms and Conditions.


Orders

The Wickes Telephone Order Line is offered in conjunction with the Wickes Transactional Website (http://www.wickes.co.uk). The order line is available from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30 pm on Saturday and 10am - 4pm on Sunday.

All orders made via the Wickes Telephone Order Line (0845 279 9898) are placed by one of our customer representatives on behalf of our telephone customers.

Telephone orders can be placed from any land, mobile or internet telephone line, but deliveries can only be made to addresses within mainland Great Britain.

Telephone and online orders can be delivered to alternative addresses to the one registered on your debit or credit card, upon passing the relevant security checks.

Orders are filled at our discretion and we reserve the right to decline any order for any reason.



Products

Any item that is offered for sale via the Wickes website is available to order via the Wickes Telephone Order Line.



Delivery

Delivery schedules for products ordered via the Wickes Telephone Order Line are identical to those of the Wickes website, whereby we offer next-day delivery for goods shipped directly by Wickes.

Deliveries cannot be made to remote or off-shore locations, including but not limited to the Inner and Outer Hebrides, Shetland, Orkney, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man. Please refer to our Delivery page for full details regarding delivery schedules and coverage.

Products with extended lead times (delivery times beyond our next-day delivery proposition) ordered via the telephone order line will remain subject to those lead times. Extended lead times are included within the product details of each affected product and can be identified by the inclusion of any of the following logos:


7-day delivery 14-day delivery 21-day delivery 28-day delivery

Our customer service representatives will make every effort to inform customers when they have ordered a product with an extended lead time. All arrangements for final delivery of such products is the responsibility of the individual supplier. Upon receipt of your telephone order, our partner supplier will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date and time.

Products delivered directly from our partner suppliers are NOT eligible for Morning delivery or Saturday delivery.



Delivery Charges

For orders over £45, next-day delivery is free. The next-day delivery cost for orders under £45 is only £5.95. If you would like delivery in the morning or on a Saturday, we can do this for just £5 extra.

Our next-day delivery proposition does not cover products with extended lead times. Please ask your representative for further details or refer to the product details on the Wickes website of the items you wish to purchase.



Packaging & Handling Charges

Some products including (but not restricted to) doors and worktops have an additional packaging & handling charge per item to contribute towards the extra cost involved in transporting them safely. These specific charges (stated on the product information page of the Wickes website) also apply to orders made via the Wickes Telephone Order Line.



Morning and Saturday Delivery

With the exception of products with extended lead times (which are subject to the specific, stated delivery timeframes included in affected product's details), Morning and Saturday delivery are available for all items ordered via the Wickes Telephone Order Line.

The additional charge for Morning delivery (available Tuesday to Friday, delivery before 12:00 noon) is £5.00 and Saturday delivery is £8.00. Please note that Morning delivery is not available in conjunction with Saturday delivery.



Registration

Customers who register with the Wickes Telephone Order Line are also registered with the Wickes website. Customers wishing to take advantage of the facilities offered by the Wickes site are invited to sign in using the same e-mail address used to register with the telephone order line. User passwords may be requested by clicking the 'Forgot your password?' button in the website's Register/Sign in page.



Further Information

Wickes' customer services representatives always endeavour to offer accurate, up-to-date information in regards to our products. The information provided by our representatives is provided 'as is', without any conditions, warranties or other terms of any kind.

We will try to ensure that the Wickes Telephone Order Line is available 100% of the time for our customers. However, we shall not be liable if this service is unavailable at any time and for any period, irrespective of the reason.
