Pros:  lightweight, easy to attach door furniture to
Cons:  very soft wood, laminated wood rather than solid, can split if not careful

"I purchased two of these door to replace the folding doors that were on my built in wardrobe. These doors worked well, and appeared to be of reasonable quality when they were first unpacked. Upon closer inspection of the doors it was noted that the frame pieces were not in fact whole pieces of solid wood, but were in fact made up from very thin layers laminated together, in a similar way to plywood. Why does this matter? well all i'll say is be very careful when attaching hinges and use a manual screwdriver..... anything more powerful will cause the wood to split very easily (I could hear the wood making some awful creaking sounds as the screws went in!). With the old folding door rails removed, these doors were lovely and lightweight and were easy enough to attach to the existing frame. Once all the door furniture was added, I was pleased with the final result."
