    Pros:  solid construction, good weight

"The door was much better quality than previous ones from another supplier. Finish was good, could leave sealed finish only if door liner matched. Sensible amounts allowed for trimming which makes life easier when fitting into a trapezium shaped door liner."

    Pros:  unbeatable value
    Cons:  heavy

"Great value especially as a bulk buy. I would recommend that you determine the obscured side of glass before cutting hinges and cut in varnish with steady hand as the 'pant and peel' is a waste of time."

  • Beautiful door, lovely finish

Cons:  "paint and peel" film was waste of time

"Bought this opaque-glazed door after seeing a friend's house with the same & transparent glazing. It's a lovely door - well made and looks fantastic. I noted others reviews warning that one side of the glass is matt frosted, and the other glossy and advise checking which way round you want it before you make the hinge cutouts. The pre-applied film to protect the glass while you varnish was useless though - even with no sign of the packing being opened before it was torn and so just got in the way when I came to apply the finish.."

Pros:  it looks gorgous, it closes and opens perfectly, it has taken years off our cottage

"For the last 25 years we have put up with the original kitchen door in our cottage - always hating it but nev er thinking of what to do about it - then I have a brain wave and logged onto Wickes - door arrived on time. Top carpenter booked to fit it along with new hinges and furniture. Can't believe how gorgeous it looks and it closes - at last a door we love walking through. Why didn't we do this years ago?"
