Pros:  well packaged, great look, easy to lay
Cons:  poor quality, comes pre damaged, chips on edges too easy, soft easy to gouge marks in

"Poor quality, the flooring has been down 3 days and already marked. This Royal oak chips too easy, comes pre chipped damaged on edges. Not recomended if you have children or for everyday wear and tear. you need to wear slippers to walk on this flooring otherwise it will be damaged VERY EASILY. the good points are it looks great, easy to lay, well packed. which leads me to think the damaged planks got through quality control ie not damaged in transit. No mention of where the product is manufactured on the packaging ? poor quality for the price, i recommend good old fasion carpets."

"There are oblique stripes on all the floors, which cause the floor looks worse I used another Wickes laminate flooring before, but I did not have this problem."

    Pros:  good price
    Cons:  seems abit brittle

"layed 30 metres of this laminate, all went well, lots of damaged sheets but had plenty of area to use them up, if you are doing a small area check them before you start so you can get some replacements"

Pros:  lovely finish, well made, solid
Cons:  click-and-fit system necessitates careful planning

"This is the first laminate floor I've laid and I'm very impressed with this product. I chose it because it was the right colour and effect for my hall, and because it's thicker than average. I removed the skirting boards, cut away the bottoms of architraves, and laid it over a high-performance underlay. The result is very neat and feels really solid, without any of the springiness that some laminates can have. My hall is L-shaped and includes four doorways, so it took a lot of careful and detailed planning to know where to start and which direction to lay in. Manipulating the 12mm thick boards into position beneath the architraves was a little tricky at times as there's almost no give in them and they need to be brought together at an angle before flattening out. This created a few difficulties along the way, but there was only one piece that I had to glue in instead of using the click-and-fit mechanism, and the result is seamless. A really nice product at an impressively low price. Thoroughly recommended. I was going to do just my hall, but I'm now considering laying this through into my lounge as well."
