    Pros:  straightforward to fit
    Cons:  dont rush the planning stage

    "I installed this product and should have done this years ago. It has been down a year now and transforms the walking on tiles experience. The product itself does require some thinking as to where to run it on the floor and the spacing, but that is a matter of preference. Just be mindful of creating a cold spot by overspacing. The instructions will guide you so read them! Wiring it up was straightforward and idiot proof. I also fitted a floor probe sensor - but I should not have bothered I just let the ambient temperature of the room decide if it needs to come on. You can choose on the controller whether to let the probe decide at what temperature to cut in."

    "The heating managed to work for 2 weeks only! Two electricians checked it after it stop working and both confirmed the wires had burned somewhere under the tiles and the only way to fix it is to lift up all the tiles and replace the heating which is hardly a cheap solution. As the result I've totally wasted about £600 on the installation and now have to buy a heater to the bathroom since I didn't plan any other heating system apart from the underfloor one. I didn’t install the floor myself, it was done by a professional electrician who is really good and everything he’s doing is really done perfect. Conclusion: do not buy cheap staff if you won't be able to replace it later."

    Pros:  good instructions on pack and leaflet.
    Cons:  care needed to ensure even coverage of the floor.

    "As a DIYer I was hesitant about fitting an electric underfloor heater in my restyled Wickes bathroom. But I needn't have been. This product went down a treat and provides nice warm tiles to walk on. It was relatively easy to fit, but I advise reading all the instructions in advance, planning each stage of the work carefully, making sure you use all the other recommended materials and being patient before moving on to the next stage to make a first class job."

Where and when can Wickes deliver items?

Our 'standard' products are available for next-day delivery (depending on your location and when you place your order).

Wickes delivers 'standard' (non-Big & Bulky) products to mainland UK (Great Britain) addresses, and to The Isle of Wight. We are unable to deliver to other remote and offshore locations.

Please refer to our Postcode Matrix to check whether we can deliver to your area, and if next-day delivery is available.

All products are delivered to the kerbside of the delivery address.

Where our next-day delivery service is available, it applies to 'standard' products that are ordered Monday – Thursday before 6pm.

For orders placed on a Friday before 6pm, we will try to deliver 'standard' products the following Monday.

For orders placed between 6pm on a Friday and 6pm on a Sunday, we will try to deliver 'standard' products the following Tuesday.

Next Day AM delivery is available for only £5 extra

Saturday delivery is available for only £5 extra.

Products Which Are Not Required

You can return any unused product to us in its original condition for a refund within 30 days of delivery to you. Please note that we may be unable to accept the return of made-to-measure products unless they are faulty or have been damaged in transit.

Cancellation Rights

You can cancel any online order and receive a full refund (including standard delivery charges) at any time before the product is dispatched or within 14 days starting on the day after delivery.

Please note that if you cancel an order after the product has been delivered, you will be responsible for returning the Product to us at your cost within 14 days of the cancellation of your order. You can arrange for the product to be collected, by us or our nominated carrier, or return the product to your local Wickes store for free, with proof of purchase.

Faulty or Damaged Products

In the unlikely event that a delivered product is faulty or damaged, we will exchange it or provide you with a refund, as long as we are notified of the product's fault within 30 days of it being delivered to you.
