Roof Loading Specification

Our conservatory roofs are built to withstand extreme weather conditions including heavy snowfall. The standard structural specification for our conservatory roofs is 0.6Kn/m2. This means they can hold 61kg per m2 of snow load.

This covers virtually all areas within the UK, but as a precaution we will check by postcode any conservatory being installed within 1km of coastline (or within the areas affected by snow loading), and call the customer to offer them advice.

Planning Permission

Planning permission or building control approval may be required depending on your property or type of conservatory you wish to build.

All Wickes conservatories require flashings, 600mm dwarf wall and base, materials which are available to order.
