Wickes is DIY’s number one for customer service…

Wickes has won the accolade of 'UK's favourite DIY store' in the Customer Satisfaction Index 2008. This prestigious annual award recognises excellence across a wide range of categories, and is all the more important because it is voted for by you, the customer.

Wickes achieved top spot in the Consumer Satisfaction Index 2008 above B&Q, which was first for customer service in 2007, and Wilkinson, which came third.

This award is based on the results of an extensive poll by the highly respected market research company Verdict Research. Shoppers across the UK were asked to rate their favourite retailers, and among DIY stores Wickes came out on top - knocking last year's winner B&Q into second place.

Wickes also came in the top 10 of ALL the UK’s retailers, climbing 20 places from last year to reach the no. 9 spot. Given our relatively small number of stores, this is a fantastic achievement!

However, this result should really come as no surprise – every single person at Wickes is committed to ensuring that our products are the best, our prices are the cheapest, our availability is excellent, our stores are a pleasure to shop in, and that our customer service is second to none.

This award recognises the efforts of our thousands of store staff who set out each day to make the shopping experience a pleasure for every customer.
