Please refer to the following information when returning products delivered from the Wickes website.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this information.

Product Recalls

Wickes 2kW Fan Heater (Product Number: 218601)

There is a potential safety issue with the plug/fuse on the above heater that may cause it to overheat and could be a fire hazard.

This recall only affects the above product sold between October 2011 and February 2012. If in any doubt please ring the Helpline to obtain advice.

We would advise customers who purchased the heater to disconnect them immediately and return them to the nearest Wickes store for a full refund.

Faulty or Damaged Products

In the unlikely event that a delivered product (including special order and made-to-measure items) is faulty or damaged, we will exchange it or provide you with a full refund, as long as we are notified of the product’s fault within 30 days of it being delivered to you.

To arrange for the product to be collected, e-mail weborders@wickes.co.uk or telephone us on 0845 274 1000 with your order number and details of the product to be returned. We will collect it at no expense to yourself, and either provide a replacement or process a refund.

Alternatively, you can make arrangements for collection of the product through our nominated carrier. The cost of the return will be at our expense. We require the return of the product within 30 days of the refund request being made.

You can also choose to return the product to your local Wickes store, with proof of purchase, for a full refund including delivery charge.

All refunds will be made to the account used to purchase the product.

We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.



Products Not Required

You can return Wickes products (including special order products) you do not require for a refund, provided we are advised of the proposed return within 30 days of the product being delivered to you.

If you cancel your order within 7 working days (i.e. excluding public holidays and weekends) following the date of delivery, we will give you a full refund including delivery charges.

If you advise us of your proposed return within 30 days (but more than 7 working days) following the date of delivery we will give you a full refund excluding delivery charges.

To arrange for the product to be collected, e-mail weborders@wickes.co.uk or telephone us on 0845 274 1000 with your order number and details of the product to be returned. We will arrange for the collection of the product by our nominated carrier. Please note that there will be a minimum charge payable by you of £22 for this service, which may rise depending on your location and product type. Your refund will be processed within 30 days.

You can also choose to return the product to your nearest store, with proof of purchase, for a full refund (excluding delivery charges unless you cancel the order within 7 days following the date of delivery, in which case we will refund the delivery charges).

All refunds will be made to the account used to purchase the product.



Made-to-Measure Products

Made-to-measure products may NOT be returned unless they are deemed to be faulty or have been damaged in transit.



'Free with Purchase' Products

Refunds are not available on 'free with purchase' items, unless all other products are returned.

All refunds will be made to the account used to purchase the product.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
