Hints and Tips:

• Small sheds with wooden floors can rest on concrete block. Larger sheds require a poured concrete base, with screeding as necessary.
• If using blocks, position these at the corners and centrally between the corner blocks.
• Remove enough turf and earth beneath each block to allow for a shallow layer of harcore, ensuring the blocks remain well above the level of the turf.
• Use a spirit level to ensure the blocks are level.
• Lay the bearers across the blocks and the floorboards across the bearers.
• Screw the wall sections into the bottom rail, then into each other to secure.
• Fix roof felt with galvanised clout nails.
