Laying a Natural Slate Floor project

Hints and Tips:

  • Separate out the thickest tiles and set these first, building up the remaining tiles to achieve the same level.
  • Offset width variations by laying the tiles a minimum of 9mm apart.
  • Use our Floor and Wall Tile Grout to fill any gaps, taking care not to rub the grout into place as this can damage the tile surface.
  • Protect the surface with Wickes Tile & Stone Stain Protector.
  • Before starting the installation, consider using Wickes Undertile Heating to keep your feet warm.
