Can you sand caulk?

Unfortunately not as caulk remains too flexible. For a smooth, sanded surface, we recommend using filler or putty instead.

What is caulk used for?

Caulk is used for sealing gaps and joints, including around windows, doors,sinks and bathtubs. This is to prevent air, water and moisture from seeping through.

How do you putty a window?

Applying putty to a window frame is quick and easy – all you need to do is press the putty into the frame and around the glass before smoothing it with a putty knife. Remember to let it fully dry before painting it.
