    Pros:  does the job!
    Cons:  none

    "I use this as the primer prior to fixing the flash band, and it makes the job so much easier. you will waste your money if this is not used prior to using the flash band, (also Wickes brand)"

    Pros:  works well, improves adhesion

    "this stuff is black, thick, sticky, and stinks! However it seals brick work and really does improve the adhesion of the aluminium high tack flashing strip."

    Pros:  easy to apply

    "If flashing this stuff can be painted down first (ideally on a clean surface) and then left for 30 mins or more after which the flashing can be put on top. I used masking tape to get a clean edge before painting . Is brown in the tin but dries black. When black that indicates it is getting dry."

Where and when can Wickes deliver items?

Our 'standard' products are available for next-day delivery (depending on your location and when you place your order).

Wickes delivers 'standard' (non-Big & Bulky) products to mainland UK (Great Britain) addresses, and to The Isle of Wight. We are unable to deliver to other remote and offshore locations.

Please refer to our Postcode Matrix to check whether we can deliver to your area, and if next-day delivery is available.

All products are delivered to the kerbside of the delivery address.

Where our next-day delivery service is available, it applies to 'standard' products that are ordered Monday – Thursday before 6pm.

For orders placed on a Friday before 6pm, we will try to deliver 'standard' products the following Monday.

For orders placed between 6pm on a Friday and 6pm on a Sunday, we will try to deliver 'standard' products the following Tuesday.

Next Day AM delivery is available for only £5 extra

Saturday delivery is available for only £5 extra.

Click & Collect

Click & Collect service you can order online, then collect it from your local store. Click & Collect allows you to spend more time on the job and less time driving around town searching for products. Click and collect orders can be made at any time on the Wickes website or via our Call Centre between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Saturdays and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays by calling 0330 123 4123. Your call will be charged at the same rate as calling a landline, call rates from mobile providers will vary. Subject to stock availability, we will aim to ensure that click and collect orders are available for collection from the nominated store within 3 store trading hours of our first email confirming your order number. Please check your selected Stores trading hours as these may vary.

Products Which Are Not Required

You can return any unused product to us in its original condition for a refund within 30 days of delivery to you. Please note that we may be unable to accept the return of made-to-measure products unless they are faulty or have been damaged in transit.

Cancellation Rights

You can cancel any online order and receive a full refund (including standard delivery charges) at any time before the product is dispatched or within 14 days starting on the day after delivery.

Please note that if you cancel an order after the product has been delivered, you will be responsible for returning the Product to us at your cost within 14 days of the cancellation of your order. You can arrange for the product to be collected, by us or our nominated carrier, or return the product to your local Wickes store for free, with proof of purchase.

Faulty or Damaged Products

In the unlikely event that a delivered product is faulty or damaged, we will exchange it or provide you with a refund, as long as we are notified of the product's fault within 30 days of it being delivered to you.
