What is Hourly delivery?
This is a new service where we deliver your order within a one-hour time slot of your choice. The service costs £9.95 (including VAT) and is available 7 days a week for your convenience. Subject to availability, hourly time slots can be selected from the day you place your order.
Does my order qualify?
The vehicles we use for our Hourly service are smaller in size, so there are a few restrictions to bear in mind. To qualify for Hourly delivery, your order will need to:

How do I choose Hourly delivery?
When you check out your order, we’ll tell you if Hourly delivery is an option. You can then choose a convenient delivery time from the hourly slots available.
What is Standard delivery?
Our Standard delivery service is available for all products that aren’t classed as Big & Bulky or Supplier Delivered. It’s free for most orders over £50 and most of our standard products can be delivered the next working day, subject to availability.
When will you deliver?
This depends on when you place your order:
We normally deliver between 7am and 6pm. You can request a morning delivery (7am to 1pm) for an extra £5. If you need a more specific time slot, you can choose our Hourly Delivery service for eligible orders.
Can you deliver on Saturdays?
Yes, if you order by 5pm on Friday. Saturday deliveries cost an extra £5.
Big & Bulky Delivery*
What are Big & Bulky products?
Big & Bulky products are items such as sand, cement, timber and sheeting materials. We deliver Big & Bulky products 6 days a week. Spend £300 or more on big and bulky items to qualify for our free delivery service. Delivery address must be within a 10 mile radius of a Wickes store. We may be able to deliver your order the next working day, depending on available space. However, some of the heavier products have a 7 working day lead time (see below).
The price of your Big & Bulky delivery will depend on your location and preferred delivery day – see below for details.
When will you deliver?
This depends on when you place your order. Items with a normal lead time will be delivered as follows:
We usually deliver between 7am and 8pm. As we can’t always offer next day delivery for Big & Bulky products, we’ll contact you by text or phone to confirm when your order will be delivered.
What about products with a 7 day lead time?
We’ll aim to deliver these products within 7 working days, between 7am and 8pm. We’ll let you know when your order will be delivered.
Can you deliver on Saturdays?
Yes, subject to availability. Saturday deliveries cost an extra £5 and you’ll need to order by 5pm on Friday for products with a normal lead time. For 7 day products, delivery will be made the Saturday after you place your order, so it may take more than 7 working days for it to arrive.
What are Supplier Delivered orders?
Some of our products are delivered straight from our suppliers because of their size or other restrictions. These deliveries are FREE for orders of £50 or more. If you order less than £50, you’ll be charged £7.95 for your delivery.
Please note that Supplier Delivered products will always be delivered separately from any Standard or Big & Bulky items in your order.
When will my order be delivered?
Our suppliers generally deliver Monday to Friday, with lead times varying by product and supplier. They’ll always contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date, so you’ll know when to expect your order to arrive. Please note that we can’t currently offer Saturday deliveries or specific delivery time slots for Supplier Delivered products.

Where do you deliver?
Our Standard delivery service covers most of the UK mainland (Great Britain) and the Isle of Wight. We don’t cover certain remote locations, any other offshore locations or Northern Ireland. Please note that some postcode areas aren’t eligible for next day or Saturday deliveries, so please check our Postcode Matrix before you order.
All products are delivered to the kerbside of the delivery address. For more information, read our Delivery Terms & Conditions.
Our Big & Bulky delivery service covers most of the UK mainland (Great Britain). We don’t deliver to certain remote locations or anywhere offshore. Please refer to our Postcode Matrix for details of delivery services in your area before you order.

Our suppliers will deliver to most mainland UK (Great Britain) locations. Some remote areas may not be covered, depending on the supplier. Please contact our Customer Services team for more information.
Frequently asked delivery questions
Due to insurance guidelines, delivery will be to kerbside only. Delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences, so the recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made.
If you would like AM delivery we can do this for 'Standard' products for no extra cost. This option is not available for deliveries containing 'Big & Bulky', 'Big & Bulky 7' or 'Supplier Delivered' products.
If you would like a Saturday delivery we can do this for 'Standard' and 'Big & Bulky' products for just £5 extra. This option is not available for deliveries containing 'Big & Bulky 7' or 'Supplier Delivered' products.
Unfortunately, Wickes cannot amend any other anticipated delivery dates.
The delivery company will require a person over the age of 18 to sign for goods as proof of receipt. Although we recommend you sign for your own goods, it is not required that the signature be from the specified recipient
If you have ordered a combination of Big & Bulky products and non Big & Bulky products with different lead times they will usually be delivered together, but where certain items in your order are being sent direct to you from one of our partner suppliers this will not be possible.
If you have ordered any product listed as 'Big & Bulky delivery within 7 Days', your order will take up to 7 working days no matter what postcode area your delivery address is in. You will be contacted within one working day of placing your order to arrange a delivery date.
Delivery will normally be within 7 working days. All paving materials are delivered to the kerbside as near as possible to the delivery address. It will then be the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product is moved promptly and does not obstruct the carriageway or pavement. Some local authorities may prosecute if an obstruction is not cleared. Wickes Building Supplies LTD and its agents will accept no responsibility for any obstruction. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Access to your premises must be suitable for a 30ft (9.2m) heavy goods vehicle (for example, can a fire engine get to the drop off point?) If permits are required, they must be obtained by the customer.
The delivery will be advised approximately 1hr before the delivery will be made.If the carrier delivering the goods has to re-deliver, they will very likely make an additional charge. This is beyond the control of Wickes and will be an agreement between the person ordering the materials and the carrier company.

What is Click & Collect?
Click & Collect is a FREE service. You simply place an order online or by phone and then collect it from your chosen store. We’ll aim to have your items ready for collection within one hour of receiving your order, subject to availability and store trading hours.

How do I place a Click & Collect order?
You can order online at any time using the Wickes website. Or, you can order by phone by calling 0330 123 4123* between the following times:
When you’ve placed an order, we’ll send you confirmation by email and let you know when your products are ready for collection. You’ll need to bring your order confirmation email, either printed or on your mobile device, with you when you collect your order.
How long will my order be held?
Your order will be held at your chosen store for 24 hours from the time your order confirmation email is sent. We’ll get in touch if you don’t collect your order within this time. Please note that your order may be cancelled and refunded if you don’t collect it within 5 working days.
