Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

By entering into this Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”).

Wickes Building Supplies Limited is the promoter of this Prize Draw (“Promoter”). The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the prize (awarding a prize of similar nature/equivalent value or cash value of the prize)), or in the event of circumstances beyond its control. Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.

The Prize Draw will run from Tuesday 2nd April 2024 to Monday 6th May 2024 (“Promotion Period”).

How to participate

To enter into this Prize Draw, entrants must have registered and been approved as a Wickes TradePro member (“Eligible Entrants”). All Eligible Entrants must complete and submit the online registration form available on www.wickes.co.uk/competitions to be entered into the Prize Draw by Monday 6th May 23:59. Entries received after the deadline will not be valid.

Eligibility

The Prize Draw is open to registered TradePro members of the Promoter only.
Wickes employees are excluded from entering the Prize Draw.

Only those persons who are resident in the UK and aged 18 or over are eligible to enter this Prize Draw. Any entry from a person under the age of 18 will be disqualified.

The prize

There will be 1 winner who will receive the below prize:

• DeWalt 18V Xr Cordless 3 Speed Impact Driver - Bare
• DeWalt 18V Xr Li-ion Cordless Oscillating Multi Tool - Bare

• DeWalt 18V Brushless 2ND Fix Nailer - Bare
• DeWalt 18v XR 5Ah Powerstack Battery

The prize is as stated and is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize in whole or in part.

Winner Announcement

The draw will take place within 72 hours after the end of the Promotion Period.

The Prize Draw will be performed by a random process using www.miniwebtool.com and will be supervised by an independent adjudicator whose details will be available on request.

The lucky winner will be notified by email and phone (using details on the account) by Friday 10th May 2024.

Claiming the prize

The winner will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize within three (3) working days of having been notified.

If the winner has not claimed their prize by the date specified or the winner refuses or is unable to provide an eligible email address or verify they are eligible for receipt of their prize, this will result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right (without further liability to the winner) to perform a redraw (on the same basis as above) from the pool of Eligible Entrants who have completed the online registration form.

Data Protection and Publicity

The Promoter will collect and process participants' personal information and it will be shared with the Promoter's agents, affiliates and, if applicable, any third party prize provider (including those outside the UK). Information provided by participants will only be used for the purpose of conducting this Prize Draw (including for prizes to be delivered) and other purposes as may be specified at the time of entry or on promotional materials. General

The Promoter's decision is final and binding on the participants. No correspondence will be entered into. If participants do not provide any of the mandatory information requested when participating in the Prize Draw, their entry will be void. The Promoter is not responsible for any information incorrectly provided. The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If you wish to opt out of the Prize Draw, you must inform the Promoter in writing by emailing joe.mcgarry@wickes.co.uk, providing your customer account name and account. The Promoter cannot be held liable for the prize if lost, stolen, damaged or defaced. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
