We provide next-day delivery for orders placed Monday to Thursday before 6:00pm.
Friday orders placed before 6:00pm will be delivered the following Monday. If Monday is a bank holiday we will deliver on Tuesday.
Weekend orders placed between 6:00pm on Friday and 6:00pm on Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday. However, if Monday is a bank holiday, delivery will be on Wednesday.
Saturday delivery is now available for only £5 extra. To take advantage of this service, your order must be placed before 6:00pm Friday (remember to check the 'Delivery Options' box in Step 3 of the checkout process).
All items shipped from our warehouse are subject to our next-day delivery policy.
We will always endeavour to give one single delivery where possible to minimise any inconvenience, but where certain items in your order have different estimated delivery dates this will not always be possible.

'Big and Bulky' products like jumbo bags of sand can now be ordered online and are identified by these logos on the product detail page:

Big and Bulky deliveries are scheduled to be delivered between 7am and 8pm.
Delivery charges for 'Big and Bulky' products are based on the postcode of your delivery address. Use our Postcode Checker to calculate your delivery charges and the estimated delivery date of your order, but please note that if you have ordered any products listed as 'Big and Bulky delivery within 7 Days', your order will take up to 7 working days no matter what postcode area your delivery address is in.
If you have ordered a combination of 'Big and Bulky' products and non 'Big and Bulky' products with different lead times they will usually be delivered together. This may mean that certain products within your order will be subject to a longer delivery time than advised on our web-site.
We will always endeavour to give one single delivery where possible to minimise any inconvenience, but where certain items in your order are being sent direct to you from one of our partner suppliers this will not be possible.
Our partner suppliers are companies that provide their products directly to the customer, due to size, weight or manufacturing constraints. Partner supplied products are identified with these logos on the product detail page, and are delivered direct from the supplier within the number of working days shown:

When you place a Big and Bulky order you will be contacted by telephone to arrange a suitable delivery date and time (scheduled between 7am and 8pm).
Some products including (but not restricted to) doors and worktops have an additional packaging and handling charge per item to contribute towards the extra cost involved in transporting them safely. The packaging and handling charge is displayed on the product information page and is applied at checkout.
Yes (but not for deliveries containing 'Big and Bulky' or partner supplied products). If you would like delivery in the morning or on a Saturday, we can do this for just £5.00 extra. Unfortunately, Wickes cannot amend any other anticipated delivery dates.
Wickes deliver to locations in mainland UK. However, we are currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland or remote and offshore locations.

The delivery company will require a person over the age of 18 to sign for goods as proof of receipt. Although we recommend you sign for your own goods, it is not required that the signature be from the specified recipient
Delivery will normally be within 7 working days. All paving materials are delivered to the kerbside as near as possible to the delivery address. It will then be the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product is moved promptly and does not obstruct the carriageway or pavement. Some local authorities may prosecute if an obstruction is not cleared. Wickes Building Supplies LTD and its agents will accept no responsibility for any obstruction. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Access to your premises must be suitable for a 30ft (9.2m) heavy goods vehicle (for example, can a fire engine get to the drop off point?) If permits are required, they must be obtained by the customer.
The delivery will be advised approximately 1hr before the delivery will be made.If the carrier delivering the goods has to re-deliver, they will very likely make an additional charge. This is beyond the control of Wickes and will be an agreement between the person ordering the materials and the carrier company.
None of the above affects your statutory rights.
The quickest way to obtain a refund or exchange your online purchase is to return it to any Wickes store with your proof of purchase.
