Wickes Lifestyle Kitchens guarantees
All Wickes kitchen cabinets, drawer boxes, drawer runners, hinges, adjustable cabinet legs, shelf supports and wall hanging brackets are supplied with a guarantee covering defects in material or manufacturing. This guarantee does not cover defects arising from incorrect installation and / or workmanship
All Wickes kitchen doors, drawer fronts, knobs and handles are supplied with a 5 year guarantee covering defects in material or manufacturing. This guarantee does not cover defects arising from incorrect installation and/or workmanship.
Individual products may carry an extended manufacturer’s guarantee, which are detailed on our website. Full details of the guarantee can be found on the manufacturer’s own website.
In all instances, the Guarantee period is valid from the date of delivery of the guaranteed product.
All guarantees are applicable to the person(s) who first had the kitchen fitted within their property. They are not transferable if the property is sold to another party. As such the guarantee is valid to original installation only.
The guarantee applies to normal domestic applications only. It is not covered for installations exposed to significant temperature and humidity fluctuations such as caravans, camper vans and houseboats. The guarantee is not applicable to commercial installations.
The product must be assembled, installed and maintained strictly in accordance with our recommended procedures and once in place shall not be removed. Gradual deterioration through normal wear and tear and deterioration from infestation, willful damage, accidental damage, improper or negligent use such as sagging due to overloading, water damage and or moisture ingress due to leaks, unauthorised modification or repair is excluded from this guarantee.
The guarantee only covers the replacement of goods and not the cost of installation or the removal of product(s). Loss of use of the product and any consequential losses are excluded from this guarantee.
The guarantee does not apply to products taken outside of Mainland England, Scotland or Wales.
The terms and conditions of the guarantee are governed by English law and jurisdiction.
In the unlikely event that you will need to make a guarantee claim on any of the products purchased for your kitchen, you will need proof of purchase. You will then need to contact the manufacturer directly to report the fault. You may be required to provide your original proof of purchase or the product serial number.
In the unlikely event that you will need to make a guarantee claim on your Wickes Kitchen you will need proof of purchase. You will then need to contact your nearest branch to report the fault providing your original proof of purchase.
Wickes reserve the right to conduct a site visit prior to validating any claims.
If once a claim is validated the product is no longer available in the Wickes Kitchens range. Wickes will offer at its sole discretion a suitable replacement.
