Wickes Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
By entering into this Wickes Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”).
Wickes gift cards (“Gift Cards”) are issued by Wickes Building Supplies Limited, (Company number 1840419) whose registered office is Vision House, 19 Colonial Way, Watford, WD24 4JL (“Wickes”). Wickes is the promoter of the Prize Draw.
From Friday 5th October 2018, the Prize Draw will run for each successive month in which Wickes makes entry into the Prize Draw available via the link provided or via the Wickes website to individuals submitting product reviews available until such time as Wickes ceases to make such entry route available (“Promotion Period”).
Wickes reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e. g. to change the scope of the Gift card service, cancellation of a Gift card or in the event of circumstances beyond its control). Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.
How to participate
There will be one Prize Draw each month (or part month in which the Promotion Period starts or ends) during the Promotion Period. Customers who post a published review on the Wickes website during the Promotion Period will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw for the month in which the review is published.
There are no restrictions to the number of entries to the Prize Draw.
All customers who post a published review on a product they have purchased are eligible to enter into the Prize Draw.
Only those persons who are resident in the UK and aged 18 or over are eligible to enter this Prize Draw. Any entry from a person under the age of 18 will be disqualified.
The prize (“Prize”) is a £50 Gift Card for one winner each month.
Each winner will be selected by a random draw.
Each Prize Draw will be performed by an independent person on the first week of the calendar month following the month to which the Prize Draw relates.
Each winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) on the 5th of the month following the month to which the Prize Draw relates and must provide a postal address to claim the Prize.
Claiming the Prize
The Prize will be posted 10 days after the winner has notified Wickes of their address.
If the winner fails to provide an address for delivery of the Prize within one month of notification of their win or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements, this may result in forfeiture of the Prize and Wickes reserves the right to disqualify the winner (without further liability to the winner) and perform a redraw (on the same basis as above) from the pool of eligible entrants.
Data Protection and Publicity
The Gift Card can be presented at any Wickes store in the United Kingdom in full or part payment for goods (excluding Gift Cards purchases or Gift Card top up) at any time whilst the card is valid. No cash change will be given following the use of the card, but any outstanding balance will remain on the card and can be used against future purchases.
Customers must be present with the Gift Card at the point of purchase.

Gift Cards cannot be used for online, telephone purchases or mail order purchases.
Gift Cards cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for cash, except in accordance with your legal rights
Gift Cards cannot be used for the following purchases
- Tool Hire
- Any products sold in Wickes in-store concessions
- Specialist Installations
- Paying for or paying off any outstanding Wickes financial loans for Kitchens or Bathrooms.
Wickes Gift Cards are not cheque guarantee, credit or charge cards.
Wickes reserves the right to refuse to accept the Gift Card if it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated and damaged or which is otherwise suspected of being used for fraudulent purposes.
Customers should treat the Gift Card as cash. Wickes cannot be held liable for the Gift Card, once activated, loaded and/or topped up, which are subsequently lost, stolen, damaged or defaced; nor will Wickes be liable for any amounts remaining on such cards.
If this card remains inactive for 24 months or more it will be cancelled and any balance forfeited. An inactive card is a card which has not been used for any purchase, refund or top up.
If the Gift Card is lost or stolen please contact Wickes on 0330 123 4123. In the event that a registered Gift Card is reported lost or stolen, Wickes may transfer any remaining balance at the time of the lost or stolen card being reported to a new card for the customer.
Rate and Review Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the process for submitting customer reviews (“Reviews”) on www.wickes.co.uk.
We will determine, at our sole discretion, whether a Review breaches these Terms.
1. Customers may post Reviews provided that it
- is a genuine and honest review of the product experience.
- relates to the product itself.
- complies with the law applicable in England and Wales and in any country which it is posted.
2. A Review must not
- refer to any customer service, delivery or availability of the product.
- defamatory to any person.
- use obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory languages or images.
- promote sexually explicit material.
- promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
- be likely to deceive any person.
- infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person.
- promote illegal activity.
- be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
- contain any advertising or promote any services or web links to other sites.
All Reviews submitted will become the exclusive property of Wickes. We shall have the right to edit, adapt and publish any or all of the Reviews, and may use them in any media without attribution or compensation to you. By posting a Review, you deemed to have waived your moral rights in all copyrights relating to the Review.
Reviews are subject to (and these Terms form part of) the Terms of Website Use. Consequences of you breaching these Terms may result in the immediate, temporary or permanent removal of your Review and us withdrawing your access to part or all of our of website.
