FAQs
How do you grout tiles?
When grouting tiles, spread the grout across the gaps in between tiles using a grouting float and pressing firmly into the joints. Remove any excess grout before cleaning the tiles. For a full run-through, read our how to tile a wall guide.
How do you clean floor tile grout?
You can use a purpose-made grout cleaner, but you must check the tile is compatible with that cleaner as it can vary based on the material. Alternatively, create a solution of baking soda and water or use a specialised grout cleaner. Apply it to your grout lines before letting it sit for 5-10 minutes before scrubbing it with a toothbrush. Finally, rinse with warm water.
How do you remove grout from tile?
To remove grout, all you need is a removal tool such as a grout rake, grout out tool or oscillating tool with a grout blade to gently scrape the grout off from between the tiles.
