Bond It Rendering Monster Mesh is an alkali resistant, glass-fibre woven mesh designed to reinforce render and basecoat plaster. It provides exceptional strength when embedded into wet base coat renders while remaining lightweight, tear resistant, and easy to handle. Ideal for stabilising surfaces and preventing cracking, it is widely used in external wall insulation systems, as well as for reinforcing roof tiles and carpets. To apply, first spread an even background coat of render to the desired thickness. Place the mesh into the wet render, pressing it in lightly with a trowel until fully embedded. Ensure joints overlap by a minimum of 5cm, then trowel over the surface to achieve the required finish.
