Ceramic kitchen sinks are considered highly durable, and their glossy finish makes them easier to clean. However, they’re more prone to chips and cracks than stainless steel sinks.

How do you clean a ceramic kitchen sink?

For daily cleaning of ceramic kitchen sinks, use a water-soaked sponge to gently wipe away any grime, grease, or marks. For tougher stains, you can use a suitable household cleaning product and a sponge to carefully scrub away any stubborn blemishes. It’s always important to check the manufacturer’s guidelines before using any cleaning products.

How do you fit a ceramic kitchen sink?

To fit a ceramic kitchen sink, start by placing the sink upside down on your worktop and drawing around where you’d like the sink to be installed. Remove the sink and draw a second line, around 10mm, inside your first line before drilling a hole in all four corners of the inside line.

Next, saw around the lines to create a hole where the sink will fit. Assemble your sink and pipes, as per the manufacturer's instructions, before applying a thin strip of silicone around the edge of the hole in the worktop and slowly lowering the sink into position.
