The Makita DLS211ZU sliding compound Mitre Saw is powered by two 18V Li-ion LXT slide Type batteries (not included), to supply power to the 36V DC brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, to deliver up to 4400 rpm, enabling the user to cut as fast as a corded slide compound Mitre Saw. The DLS211ZU is equipped with 2 stage safety switch (lock off) for increased operator safety, large turn base to support the work piece securely, integrated guide fences for increased rigidity and high cutting accuracy and single sliding system to enable smooth operation. Holders on both sides of the DLS211ZU hold long work pieces horizontally, slide lock for locking the sliding movement of the carriage and linear ball bearings have been engineer to deliver "dead on" Accurate cuts.
