The best way to clean a washing machine is to place a small amount of detergent, bleach, or washing machine cleaner in the drawer and put the machine on a hot cycle. You should then run another cycle to rinse the machine out before leaving the door open to dry it out.
Smells and odours coming from your washing machine are usually caused by a build-up of moisture or detergent.
