What is caulk?
Caulk is a flexible filler that’s used to seal unwanted gaps, cracks and joints usually around doors, windows, trim and skirting boards.
How long does caulk take to dry?
Caulk can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to become touch-dry and can be painted on from as little as 1-2 hours. However, a full cure will likely take 24 hours, depending on the brand and environment.
How do you clean off silicone caulk?
Firstly, soften the caulk using a specialist caulk remover, WD-40 or something similar. Then, using a sharp blade, putty knife or utility knife, gently scrape away the caulk. Clean the surface once you’re finished to rid of any residue.
