How do you clean a dishwasher?
To clean a dishwasher, first remove and clean the filter from the bottom of the dishwasher. Put the filter back in and add a dishwasher cleaning tablet to the detergent tray before running a normal cleaning cycle. You should clean your dishwasher once a month for to keep it looking and smelling its best and to maintain hygiene.
Where should you put dishwasher salt?
Dishwasher salt should be put in the salt dispenser at the bottom of the dishwasher beneath the lower rack. To refill the dishwasher salt dispenser, unscrew the cap and use a funnel to carefully pour in the dishwasher salt until its full before screwing the cap back on tightly.
How much water does a dishwasher use?
The average UK dishwasher uses around 10 litres of water per load which is less than the amount of water typically used when hand washing the same number of dishes. However, the exact amount of water used by a dishwasher depends on the make and model of the appliance, with older appliances often using more water than newer models.
