How do I cut porcelain tiles?
To cut porcelain tiles, you should first mark your cutting lines and apply masking tape along the edge of the tile. Since porcelain tiles are generally thicker than ceramic tiles, they can be difficult to cut with a standard tile cutter. We recommend you use a diamond blade wet-saw tile cutter to prevent the tile from chipping. Align your guide mark with the blade and carefully feed the tile along the blade until the cut is made.
How do I clean porcelain tiles?
Keeping porcelain tiles clean is essential for maintaining their natural stone finish. For day-to-day cleaning of porcelain floor tiles, sweep away any debris and mop the tiles with warm water. Once clean, ensure the tiles are fully dry before walking over them.
Are porcelain tiles slippery?
Porcelain tiles can be slippery, depending on their finish. Textured porcelain tiles offer more grip than polished porcelain tiles, making them suitable for outdoor use. For areas prone to moisture build-up, we recommend porcelain tiles with a high slip resistance rating of R11 or higher.
