What are large format tiles?

How do you cut large format porcelain tiles?

For precise, clean cuts, you’ll need to cut your large format porcelain tiles with a wet tile saw. Make sure you support the tile at all times and then finish off by smoothing the edges with a diamond file. If you only need to make small adjustments, use an angle grinder with a diamond blade.

Are large format tiles hard to install?

Large format tiles can be challenging to install because they’re heavier and require very flat surfaces to be installed on. You’ll need to take care when handling the tiles, ensure precise levelling, and use a suitable adhesive to avoid any uneven edges.
